The Proust Questionnaire - Meeting with Pier Stockholm

When you would meet Pier Stockholm you probably wouldn't guess that you're looking at a Peruvian artist. Living in Paris since three years, his work, primarily drawings, is heavily influenced by architecture. Like a story-teller he creates a world full of wonders in which famous architectures, such as “La Cité radieuse” by le Corbusier, are floating in the air surrounded by clouds and wild animals. The Christian symbolism represented in his works might evoke the Ascension; Jesus becoming a building, “the pillar of the catholic faith”.
